This is a wonderful example of an original Antique Shan (Tai Yai) Bronze Buddha Figure from Myanmar formerly known as Burma. He sourced his personal Buddha collection primarily from two well known & highly regarded dealers in Bangkok's Bang Rak District - Peng Seng and Anna's Antiques. Please note the Burmese script on the back rear panel of the piece.

The figure most likely dates to before the 18th Century. Please review pictures closely in regards to the overall condition of this Buddha figure. There is red paint on various areas of the figure as illustrated by the photos. Buddha Dimensions: 3 5/8 inches wide at the base, 7 1/4 inches high with depth of 2 inches.
